Trump's new 75-day extension means that TikTok's future is still uncertain, and the app could go offline if there's not a buyer or another extension. But my testing shows a VPN might not be the answer for unblocking the app.

After the US Supreme Court upheld legislation banning TikTok, President Donald Trump gave the social media site two extensions, but the deadline of the second reprieve -- June 19 -- is fast approaching. We don't have a definitive answer about what will happen to the hugely popular social media app currently, but if there's no additional extension, the ban could go into effect.
