It will be a while until the new Pixar movie Hoppers hits Disney+ — my best guess is the end of 2026 — but it will certainly be worth the wait if you're not heading out to theaters on March 6.

We follow Mabel (Piper Curda), a young girl who uses the new technology to uncover mysteries of the animal world. How? Scientists have discovered a way to transform human consciousness into robotic animals... so Mabel becomes a beaver.

Not only is it full of heart, but it also directly challenges our relationship with AI, technology, and environmental issues. On top of that, Hoppers ticks off the classic Disney characteristic of hiding Easter eggs linked to past movies in plain sight.
