This time around X marks the spot as Elon Musk’s Social-Media-Platform-Formerly-Known-As-Twitter gets landed with a €120 million fine for failing to comply with the requirements of the European Union’s (EU) Digital Services Act (DSA). Specifically Elon’s empire has been found guilty of not meeting the transparency obligations of the Act, with the European Commission (EC) declaring that the platform’s blue tick checkmarks are “deceptive”.
