Securonix purchased a vendor led by a former Sourcefire executive to provide contextual and relevant external threat intelligence data.

The Dallas-area company said its acquisition of Washington D.C.-area ThreatQuotient will boost threat visibility, reduce false positives and improve operational efficiency through the introduction of agentic AI capabilities into ThreatQuotient's product, said president and CEO Kash Shaikh. He said Securonix will continue to pursue additional SOC-aligned acquisitions to expand its market presence and capabilities.
