Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Review: The Best Foldable Phone in the US, for Now

Samsung is a foldable phone pioneer, but it’s been slipping. The Galaxy Z line has followed the “safe” route where rivals like Google, Honor, and OnePlus have made devices that are sometimes sleeker, faster, and simply more capable.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 changes the equation. Simply put, it’s the biggest revision of Samsung’s flagship book-style foldable since 2020’s Z Fold 2. And as I found out in my review, it finally delivers high performance in a form you’ll want to use every day, albeit with a few remaining compromises.
