PayPal's 'Pay With Crypto' Allows Merchants to Take Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Other Cryptocurrencies

PayPal will soon start rolling out a new "Pay with Crypto" option for worldwide merchants that use PayPal as a payment provider. The new checkout option will allow businesses to easily accept payments in the form of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and over 100 other cryptocurrencies. This is just one of many recent moves by major institutions to improve access to (and profit from) cryptocurrencies in the wake of warming support from the second Trump administration.

Although cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin have been used globally for financial transactions and stores of value for close to 20 years, the global response from governments and financial institutions has traditionally been standoffish at best.
