OnePlus 15 Preorders Finally Open in the US
extremetech.comAfter finally being cleared by the Federal Communications Commission, OnePlus has kicked off online preorders for the OnePlus 15 in the United States. The base model, with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, starts at $900 in Infinite Black, while the 16GB RAM and 512GB variant costs $1,000 and comes in Sandstorm and Ultraviolet finishes.
The US launch was delayed due to the federal government's record-breaking shutdown, which suspended FCC operations. The FCC is responsible for certifying new wireless products, and without its approval, OnePlus could not begin selling the OnePlus 15 in America. The company received FCC clearance in early December, Ars Technica reports.
