Microsoft Scrubs Instructions for Installing Windows 11 on Older PCs

Microsoft has quietly removed official guidance for bypassing Windows 11's hardware requirements from its support documentation, as reported by Neowin. You can still see what the instructions looked like before the purge on the Internet Archive. By comparison, this is how the official page looks now.
When Windows 11 was initially released in October 2021, Microsoft provided a registry workaround that allowed users to bypass certain system requirements, including CPU and TPM checks. Microsoft had to do this because of the widespread criticism of Windows 11's stringent hardware requirements.
