Microsoft Says Copilot+ Will Come to Intel and AMD PCs in November

Microsoft has traditionally been slow to change, but this big ship is suddenly turning with remarkable speed in the age of AI. Since announcing its partnership with OpenAI, Microsoft has put the Copilot AI on millions of Windows PCs and launched the Copilot+ initiative for a new generation of AI-accelerated computers. Those features have been limited to Qualcomm's new laptop chips so far, but Microsoft now says Intel and AMD will be able to get Copilot+ features later this year.

Microsoft opted to launch Copilot+ with support for the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite and X Plus in May. Those machines have been shipping over the summer, offering live captions, image generation in MS Paint, auto super-resolution upscaling for games, and more.
