Microsoft Halts Windows 11 Update Rollout Due to Critical Issues


Microsoft has stopped sending the Windows 11 KB5043145 update, which was released on Sept. 26, after users reported problems. Reports surfaced of issues including Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) and Green Screen of Death (GSOD) errors.

Other reported issues are USB port failures affecting keyboards and mice, Windows Subsystem for Linux 2 (WSL2) launch failures on some AMD-based systems, Wi-Fi connectivity problems, context menus reverting to Windows 10 style, and Windows updates failing with specific error codes.

Users have also reported their systems becoming stuck in boot loops. Devices automatically switch to recovery mode to try fixing or undoing updates. Sometimes, as reported by Windows Latest, people are asked to enter special BitLocker codes to help with this process.

From what's been noted so far, Asus laptops, including TUF A15 and ROG Strix G17 models, as well as some Intel NUC devices, have experienced issues.
