Meta Inks Deal With AMD for $100 Billion in GPUs and AI Hardware
extremetech.comThis Tuesday, AMD and Meta announced a deal to scale up Meta's AI data center deployments with up to 6 gigawatts of AMD computing power. The deal is said to be worth as much as $100 billion and will involve a multi-year deployment of AMD's MI450 Instinct GPUs and AMD CPUs as part of its Helios rack-scale architecture, with the first GPUs installed in the back half of this year.
