How Do Google's Pixel Fold 10 Pro and Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold7 Measure Up?
extremetech.comSpecs for the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold leaked this week ahead of its August release. Naturally, this means Android users are comparing the smartphone with Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold7, which comes out next week.
So far, it looks like Google is focusing on battery life, durability, and display improvements, while Samsung is prioritizing a thin frame and top-notch camera hardware. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold will have a 6.4-inch cover display—slightly smaller than the Galaxy Z Fold7's 6.5-inch screen. Google has reduced the Pixel's bezels and refined its hinge, likely resulting in an inner display similar in size to Samsung's 8-inch foldable screen. Peak brightness on the Pixel's cover display is now 3,000 nits (around 10 percent brighter than last year's Pixel 9 Pro Fold). The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 has a peak brightness of 2,600 nits.
