Grasshopper and Suda51 reveal Romeo is a Dead Man for 2026

One of the first reveals at the State of Play, the opening salvo for the June summer gaming event, was the new title from Grasshopper Manufacture and Suda51. The new game is an action title called Romeo is a Dead Man, and it launches on PlayStation 5 in 2026. The reveal focused mostly on the third-person action as well as the over-the-top visuals, but it also dropped a few details about the story.

According to James Mountain, Grasshopper’s community manager, Romeo is a Dead Man follows the work of Romeo Stargazer, an FBI agent whose life is saved by a space-time paradox and thus becomes a Dead Man. “Romeo’s search for these space-time fugitives ends up intertwining with his search for his suddenly missing girlfriend, the mysterious Juliet… You’ll just have to play the game to see how (and even if) these mysteries unravel, but after all ...
