Got an Intel Mac? Apple just confirmed when your last update will arrive

WWDC 2025 is a big day for Apple users since it's when the tech giant previews future updates. This year, we saw the introduction of a robust UI redesign called Liquid Glass. But sometimes the most important news comes after the keynote presentation.

During the Platforms State of the Union on Monday, Apple announced that MacOS 26 Tahoe will be the final version of the operating system that will roll out to Intel-based Mac computers. This means that starting in 2026, you must own an M1 or newer MacBook to receive all the improvements and new features that MacOS 27 will bring.
