GameStop Will Give You Extra Cash for Your 'Retro' PS3, Xbox 360, or Wii U

GameStop now classifies three well-known consoles as "retro" hardware and has launched a limited-time trade-in bonus for each. The retailer says the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Nintendo Wii U are now part of its "historic artifacts" category, highlighting component cables and a lack of Fortnite as evidence for the new categorization.
Customers who trade in these consoles or their games and accessories get an extra 10% store credit on top of the usual value, thanks to the "Retro Trade-In Bonus." GameStop says stores will also accept "defective retro consoles" as long as they can power on, even if they are missing accessories or have heavy cosmetic wear.
