Cyber resilience is an operational necessity for financial institutions as they face growing regulatory pressure. To meet these expectations, firms must show regulators they can withstand and recover from disruptions while still managing day-to-day business demands. This outside pressure reinforces existing commitments while providing the leverage security leaders needed to gain resources and visibility, said Becky Pinkard, managing director of global cyber operations at Barclays.
