Even Realities Takes on Meta With Anti-Distraction Smart Glasses, Dual-Purpose Ring
extremetech.comEven Realities, a wearable technology startup headed by former Apple engineer Will Wang, introduced two new devices this week: the Even G2 Display Smart Glasses and the Even R1 Smart Ring. Both wearables were reportedly built on the idea that technology should distract users less and integrate more smoothly with everyday routines.
Even G2 uses the startup's Even HAO 2.0 optical engine to work with micro-LED projectors and layered waveguides. This technology projects images that appear to blend naturally with the user's surroundings. Users see quick AI prompts in the foreground, with navigation or notes placed subtly behind them.
