The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s chief information officer has been handed reassignment orders and is expected to soon transfer out of the DHS cyber agency, according to three people familiar with the matter.
Bob Costello, the chief information officer, has multiple offers on the table for his next job, though it’s not clear if those offers include opportunities to go to another government agency or leave for industry, the one of the three people said.
All sources spoke on the condition of anonymity to communicate details of the transfer.
