ChatGPT Chats Will Soon Allow Sexts With Age-Verified Adults

According to OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, ChatGPT will soon begin allowing more erotically charged conversations for verified adults. As part of the company's approach to "treating adult users like adults," it will allow more explicit chats between users and the chatbot once it has rolled out its age verification system.

ChatGPT has changed a lot since its bombastic release. It's gone through several different models and has swung wildly between what it will allow and what's restricted. Following its recent lawsuit regarding the suicide of a teen ChatGPT user, OpenAI added greater restrictions aimed at being "careful with mental health issues."

However, following backlash to the almost-robotic conversational styles of GPT-5, OpenAI has promised to change how it behaves. With plans for a future age verification system, OpenAI may even open the chat tool to more "adult" interactions.
