The official November 28 start to Black Friday is just days away, and we're already seeing compelling computing deals from major brands and retailers.

Laptops are often at their cheapest during the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales, but the sheer number of choices available, not to mention inflated prices from some stores, makes it hard to spot the true bargains.

As TechRadar Australia's resident laptop expert, I'm here to help.
