AMD Shows Off 9060 XT Render As Real Cards Hit Retail
extremetech.comAMD has released a render for the RX 9060 XT despite no plans to launch a reference version—and retailers have started receiving shipments of both the 8GB and 16GB versions of the card. The card's official launch date is May 21, during AMD's keynote address at Computex.
The RX 9060 XT will be AMD's most affordable RDNA4 graphics card yet released, looking to compete directly with Nvidia's RTX 5060 Ti and 5060, as well as offering a lower-power GPU for those wanting the latest features for small form factor and eco-conscious systems. Although AMD isn't set to release its own reference design of the card, the fact that the render has a single 8-pin PCI Express power connector would suggest the new cards will be smaller, slimmer, and pull less power than their higher-end siblings.
