TCS unveils Chiplet-based system engineering services to accelerate semiconductor innovation

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), announced the launch of its Chiplet-based System Engineering Services, designed to help semiconductor companies push the boundaries of traditional chip design. By using chiplets (which are small integrated circuits that serve as building blocks of larger chips), TCS is enabling chipmakers to deliver faster, efficient, and more powerful processors at a time when global demand for advanced semiconductors is soaring.

The timing of this launch is significant for India. The country’s semiconductor market valued at $45–50 billion in 2024-2025, is projected to more than double to $100–110 billion by 2030. With government support through the ₹76,000 crore India Semiconductor Mission, the country is positioning itself as a major global hub for chip design and manufacturing.
