Satya Nadella Commends Manipal Academy for Embracing AI in Education

Satya Nadella, Chairman and CEO of Microsoft, has applauded the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) for equipping its 6,000 students with access to GitHub Copilot, an AI-powered coding assistant. Reflecting on his alma mater, the Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), Nadella shared his aspiration to revisit the institution, which he last visited in 1988.

Nadella made these remarks during his visit to India, where he engaged with representatives from the government’s eSanjeevani telemedicine initiative and the Agricultural Development Trust (ADT) in Baramati.
