Karnataka and Poland partner to build AI, gaming and deep-tech innovation corridor


The Department of Electronics, Information Technology, Biotechnology and Science & Technology, Government of Karnataka, has signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Katowice and Kato.hub sp. z o. o. to advance collaboration in artificial intelligence, gaming, and deep-tech innovation.

The agreement was formalised at the Karnataka State Pavilion during the AI Impact Summit in New Delhi, signalling a step toward structured India–Poland cooperation across innovation-led sectors.

The LoI was signed by Rahul Sharanappa Sankanur, IAS, Managing Director of Karnataka Innovation and Technology Society and Director at the state’s Department of Electronics, IT, Biotechnology and Science & Technology, alongside representatives from the Katowice Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Kato.hub. Dr Manjula N., IAS, Secretary to the Government, was present at the signing.
